Child Safety Standards

Effective Date: 24/01/2025

Our Commitment

At AviNet, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users within our aviation community. We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform.

Definitions

For clarity and compliance with global standards, we define:

  • CSAE (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation): Any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including but not limited to grooming, exploitation, or trafficking.
  • CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): Any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Content Standards

As an aviation-focused community, all shared content must be directly related to aviation activities. This includes:

  • Flight tracks and associated data
  • Photos of aircraft, airports, and aviation-related activities
  • Comments and discussions about aviation topics

Any content that deviates from these aviation-focused purposes or violates our child safety standards will be removed immediately.

Reporting Mechanism

We provide multiple ways to report concerning content or behavior:

  • In-app reporting feature available on all user-generated content (flight posts, comments, and profiles)
  • Direct contact with our child safety point of contact at support@avinet.app

Review and Action Process

When content is reported:

  • All reports are reviewed promptly by our designated safety team
  • If content is found to violate our child safety standards, it will be immediately removed and the associated account will be suspended
  • Relevant authorities will be notified when required by law
  • If content is found to comply with our standards, the report will be concluded with no further action

We comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations. This includes:

  • Prompt reporting of CSAM to relevant authorities
  • Cooperation with law enforcement investigations
  • Implementation of preventive measures to protect minors
