I am a Software Engineer with a diverse background working in startups and multinational
consulting companies across various industries. After graduating with an MEng in Civil
Engineering from the University of Western Australia, my passion for technology and innovation
led me to pursue a career in software engineering.
Whilst I am not a pilot, my extensive travel experiences across the world fueled my fascination
with the aviation industry. When Fred approached me with the idea for AviNet, I was immediately
excited to create a platform that connects pilots worldwide, fostering collaboration and sharing
experiences.
If you have any questions or want to learn more about AviNet's potential in transforming the aviation
industry, please reach out. Let's embark on this exciting journey together!
I spent my formative years in Kent, UK, where the sight of Chinooks and Apaches flying
overhead our family home sparked a deep fascination with aviation. At the age of 18, I had the
exhilarating experience of my first flight in a Robinson R22.
Following my graduation from Loughborough University with an MEng in Civil Engineering, I
relocated to London where I discovered my true calling in Software Engineering. However, my
passion for flying never waned, and a few years into my professional career, I decided to once
again take to the skies. Nowadays, I fly out of Headcorn Aerodrome (EGKH) with Thurston
Helicopters.
The idea of AviNet has been brewing within me ever since I embarked on my aviation adventures.
Josh and I are thrilled to have taken the leap of faith in transforming this idea into a
reality!
